Eye-catching printed pieces in a recession?

It’s hard to justify the cost of custom print jobs during the current economic climate, but there are less expensive ways of making creative print materials. We’ve been making our own note cards, invitations, and donation reply cards using affordable bulk invitation stock for a long time. I buy 5.5-inch by 8.5-inch sized invitations in plain white. They are on heavy stock and they hold ink well. We run them through our color printer to add our logo, text, whatever. At $24.99 per 100 (including matching envelopes), these are cost effective.

Shout out to our Development Assistant Jeff for finding a company called Gartner Studios that sells these cards online. Here’s a link: Gartner Studios.com

These are great for: handwritten thank you notes and mailing inserts. I’ll post some samples and templates for these soon!
